How can I move a shape based on date in Excel

Hoping someone can help - but I am looking to find a way of automatically placing a shape over the current date on a gaant chart?

    Try selecting the shape, right-clicking, and changing its properties

    Hi there

    If the shape you want to move is not linked to any macro, I would suggest using conditional formatting rules for the range of cells

    Per example you may highlight today's data cell in Yellow while the remaining cells keep the black color background you selected.
