Hi,

I would like to forward syslog messages from my linux host to Azure Monitor.
Is there a way to obtain an installable package of Azure Monitor (perferably deb), or the binary?

I am not interested installing it as vm extension, or Powershell. Iirc with the old solution the binary could be extracted from some shellscript.

thanks and kind regards.

Azure Monitor
Azure Monitor

    Hi Stefan-5479,

You can use Azure Log Analytics agent to transfer the syslog from your Linux server to Azure Log Analytics workspace. Please have a look into below URL for more details.

    Thanks & Regards,
