Hi David
I'm AnnaThomas and I'd happily help you with your question. In this Forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.
Sorry for the trouble this might have caused. One possibility is that the file is corrupted or damaged. Another possibility is that there are compatibility issues between the version of Excel you’re using and Windows 10.
You may not need to remove Windows 10 and reinstall Windows 7. Instead, you could try running the file in compatibility mode for Windows 7 on your Windows 10 machine. This can be done by right-clicking on the Excel file, selecting “Properties,” then selecting the “Compatibility” tab and checking the box for “Run this program in compatibility mode for” and selecting “Windows 7” from the drop-down menu.
Alternatively, you could try repairing the file using the “Open and Repair” feature in Excel. To do this, open Excel, click on “File,” then “Open,” navigate to the file you want to repair, click on the arrow next to the “Open” button, and select “Open and Repair.”
I hope this helps ;-), let me know if this is contrary to what you need, I would still be helpful to answer more of your questions.
Best Regards,
AnnaThomas
