    Dear Alejandro,

Good day! Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

According to your description, for the search bar, I assume you mean the search box placed at the top of SharePoint. If so, I would like to collect more information to troubleshoot the situation.

    1. Since the situation only happens to specific users, I would like to know how they searched (search on the SharePoint Home page or go to the site/library/list, then search) and what keyword they used. Please note that the modern search experience in SharePoint is a personalized experience. If these users don't have permission to files/folders, they can't find them in the search results.
    2. Please share the screenshots of the search results on your side and on these users' sides. Please click the Insert Image button to insert them.

We look forward to your response. Thanks for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    George | Microsoft Community Moderator

They are searching directly from the main SharePoint page. This is what shows up for me, but these users are not seeing these suggestions for anything. They are admins.

    Dear Alejandro,

    Thanks for posting back.

Based on my search and test, we can't customize the SharePoint search suggestions at the user level. Please let the affected users use another browser, open the private window of the browser, then check again.

Also, as you mentioned the affected users are admins, I assume they are the global admins or SharePoint admins who have full permission to view all SharePoint files. If so, I would like to suggest you contact your admin/IT department and let them create a support ticket via Microsoft 365 Admin Center> Support> New service request. That support team there will have the correct channel and resources to help you investigate more and find what exactly the reason has caused this situation.

    Appreciate your understanding and patience.

    Sincerely,

    George | Microsoft Community Moderator
