Hi. I need help please. The following is applicable: Microsoft® Word for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2208 Build 16.0.15601.20540) 64-bit .

I can't change styles or font or anything to correct letter-spacing. Please see attached picture indicating the spacing where there should not be.

It sounds like some fonts may not be correctly installed on your computer. If that the case, only your machine will be affected and the documents will appear correctly on others.

What is the font listed in the font dropdown? If you start a new blank document, is that same font still visible in the font dropdown?

That has the appearance of a font used in the document that is not installed on your computer.

In your first post you wrote "I can't change styles or font or anything to correct letter-spacing." Do you mean that you are unable to change the font, or that changing the font has no effect on the spacing? If you are unable to change the font, have you tried removing protection from the file? Hi John

The problem seems to come from the original doc I copied to create the one I'm busy with. Other word docs don't have the problem. I did attach a picture, will try again.

Is this a problem with all documents, or just one?
