Export One Note error

I am trying to export my notebook and I'm not able to. Every time I try, it tells me something went wrong and it could not export the notebook. Sometimes it gives me a error code 0x8. It is a very large notebook. I need to be able to transfer ownership of this notebook from one account to another. There are hundreds of sections with each section having anywhere from 4-40 pages within it. Is this Notebook just too large to export? What I am doing is clicking Export and under 1. Export Current: I am selecting Notebook and under 2. Select Format: I am selecting OneNote Package (*.onepkg). I have chosen a folder to save it to on my desktop and that didn't work, so I plugged in a large capacity external hard drive to see if it just needed more space. But that is also not working. IT will start a progress bar that says Preparing... and then about halfway through it says "Something went wrong and we can't do what you asked. We're sorry." What am I doing wrong?

    This issue might be due to the size of the notebook or a connectivity issue between OneNote and your device. To resolve the issue, try the following:

    Close OneNote and restart your device Split the notebook into smaller sections and try exporting each section individually Try to export the notebook to a different location on your device or a cloud service like OneDrive or Dropbox
