    Dear montyNK,

Good day! Thank you for posting your query in our community.

Based on your description, you can't connect the printer to Excel.

You can try the below steps to see the result:

    1. Please make sure your Office is up to date, update Office in File>Account.
    2. Make sure your printer driver is up to date, you may follow the article: How to install the latest driver for your printer.
    3. You can try Office safe mode to determine if the third party add-ins affect the office program.
    4. Try to fix Office client, by performing a repair. Try a quick repair first, and if that doesn't work, try the online repair.

If the problem persists, could you please provide more information for me?

    1. Did you receive any error when connecting?
    2. Does the problem happen on other Office applications and non-Office applications?
    3. Please provide a screenshot of your Office Product Information(open Excel>File>Account>capture a screenshot of the Product Information column).

    Sincerely,

    Jazlyn | Microsoft Community Moderator
