3D Map not pulling correct data

I created a Tour with 3 layers and noticed I had two of the column names transposed. I created a copy of the Excel file, deleted all Tours, and fixed the column names. I also deleted unneeded columns and sheets. I was left with one sheet with 11 columns (down from 5 sheets and 20 columns on each).

With only the new Excel file open, I created a new Tour. For some reason all of the original columns are still showing up, not just the 11 I have left. The column names I switched are still showing as having each others data as if I never fixed the column names.

I tried refreshing the data, but nothing happened.

*UPDATE - I found an article referring to Connections and was able to delete the old data connections and update to my new data.

set.

Problem solved

    Dear Jim Calabrese,

Good day! Thank you for posting your query in our community.

Based on your description, after deleting all Tours and fixing the column names, all the original columns are still show in the new Tour.

I noticed you mentioned "I created a copy of the Excel file" and "With only the new Excel file open", may I confirm whether the problem happened on the copy file of the original one?

If yes, may I confirm whether you copied the file via right-clicking the file and selecting the Copy option in Windows? If yes, you can try to create a new file in Excel first, and manually copy/paste the content from the problematic file to the newly created one, then create a Tour to see the result.

If the problem persists, to help you better, could you please send a sample file for us via OneDrive link or private message so that we can test it on our side.

    Appreciate your cooperation in advance.

    Sincerely,
