Excel for Mac create wrong format for date type cell by default

I create blank file and format a single cell as Date. I type 22.02.2020 and save the file. I change the file extension from .xlsx to .zip, unzip the file, navigate to the "xl" folder and open the "styles.xml" file. "formatCode" is "dd/mm/yyyy;@". When I upload the file to Google sheets, it is recognized as 2/22/2020. In Numbers, Calc, Excel for Windows I'm able to produce correct format following described steps - when I upload the file to Google sheets, it is recognized as 22.02.2020

How to achieve in Excel for Mac that format code is "dd.mm.yyyy;@". How can Excel for Mac create date in dd.mm.yyyy format, 22.02.2020?

My region is Switzerland, Language is Deutsche (Schweiz), date format is dd.mm.yyyy
Microsoft Office Excel for Mac 16.57 (22011101)
macOS Ventura 13.3.1
MacBook Pro 13 inch, M1,2020

Thank you for any kind of help!
