Microsoft token oauth2

I need to get an autenthication token from the request https://login.microsoftonline.com/organizations/oauth2/v2.0/token, but I was only successful when I disabled multifactor authentication on the account I'm using.

With multi-factor authentication enabled, I get this message:

"error_description": "AADSTS50079: Due to a configuration change made by your administrator, or because you moved to a new location, you must enroll in multi-factor authentication to access

Is there any chance this will work with multi-factor authentication enabled?

    Dear Luis668,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Based on your description, I understand that you have a query "Microsoft token oauth2". Before we proceed, we need more detailed information about the situation you are experiencing.

Please help us in isolating the issue by providing the following information:

    1. Have you checked if this is not due to Azure AD Conditional Access (CA) policy admin configurations? See Troubleshooting problems related to Azure AD authentication with Azure SQL DB and DW - Microsoft Community Hub.
    2. Have you changed location that may trigger the require(s) re-enrollment in MFA?
    3. Are you using a VPN? If so, have you tried disabling it to check if it works?

In the meantime, in order to get further dedicated technical support and assistance, to help you better and not waste more time, it is recommended to publish a new thread on the Microsoft Q&A forum with a azure active directory tag. Dedicated support engineers there specialize in work related to Azure AD and will provide you with further assistance with your current goals/deployments.

We look forward to hearing from you; Please understand that our initial reply may not always immediately resolve the issue. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution. Thank you for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

De Paul | Microsoft Community Moderator
