Microsoft 365 basic subscription apparently not activated

I paid for a Microsoft 365 basic subscription via Google Play (received confirmation mail) and thought I activated it on a Samsung Tab S6 tablet (procedure with codes via SMS on the phone). But apparently the activation is not working: One Drive on the PC is still the free 5 GB storage, files are not synchronizing between PC and tablet and on the PC I get invitations to take a Microsoft 365 basic subscription. I'm logged-in both on PC and tablet. What is going wrong. Thanks for the help..

    Thank you for the prompt response.

    If you receive a message "Activation still in progress", your subscription will activate soon. If the issue continues, contact Microsoft support directly during operational hours. https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/

    1. Select Microsoft 365.
    2. Click Get Home support.
    3. Click Get support in your browser.
    4. Type in Account and click Contact support in the bottom pane.

    Thank you for the promt response Gunasekar, I checked the storage capacity for One Drive both on PC and tablet and both show 5 GB. So apparently the "basic subscription" is not yet activated. When doing the check on the tablet there was a pop-up message mentioning that the activation is still in progress although the subscription was made more then 48 hrs ago; I will be patient for a couple of days in the hope things are running well by next Monday.     So, here's what you get when you subscribe Microsoft Office 365 Basic plan.

    Is it possible you added the Storage to another of your Microsoft Accounts since all of them have OneDrive?

    Microsoft 365 Basic plan includes -

    -For one person. (i.e. for one Account) -100 GB cloud storage. (www.onedrive.com) -Works on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. (OneDrive) -Web and mobile versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, OneDrive, and more. -Ad-free Outlook and mobile email and calendar with advanced security features. -Access to Microsoft support experts.

    According to the plan, you get 100GB Of OneDrive cloud storage. Normally it takes 24-48 hours for the storage to reflect in your account. But, in the meantime, you could check the following areas to troubleshoot the issue.

    1. check the OneDrive storage space Online. a. Go to www.Onedrive.com/ in a browser. b. Sign in with your Microsoft account. c. Check the OneDrive storage capacity.

    If it is listed as 100GB, and the storage is not reflected on the Applications running on the devices,

    Just sign out and sign in with the Microsoft account that you used for the purchase.
