Microsoft Student Verification Issues

Hello,

I've been trying to get microsoft student verification, and received an email last week confirming my application. However, I have attempted to claim the discounted price of office, but it just sends me through a loop every time.

  1. I click the link on the email confirming me as a student
  2. I sign in to the account that the email was sent to, and that I applied for
  3. It shows a screen saying 'verify'
  4. I click this, it sends me to the same page I originally verified with, but says 'congratulations you are verified' on the side, and a continue button
  5. I click continue, but it just sends me back to the screen saying 'verify'

Does anyone know a fix for this? I called support which suggested I ask the chat on the website, but that has sent me here.

Thanks in advance for any help

I have tried to attatch screenshots of each step, however this website isn't accepting any images I try to insert, will be happy to send them to anyone who needs them though

    Dear Zac Smith2,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Based on your description, we understand that you will repeatedly return to the verification page when confirming your student status.

I would like to confirm if the following page you mentioned is not: Microsoft Student Discount on Office, Word | Microsoft 365

Knowing where you stand, first you can try switching browsers to see if you can avoid the page going back to verification. Second, try switching a network environment, such as a mobile hotspot, to see if this can be prevented from happening again.

    Sincerely,
