    1. I have Office personal.
    2. I had the Excel sheet on auto save, in the cloud. I had been adding to it almost daily over a 4 week period without issue..
    3. My last updt was Friday. The same day that I renewed my Microsoft 365 and then restarted my laptop. Saturday when I tried to get into the spreadsheet. It showed last updt on Friday yet the spread sheet was the first version from 4 weeks ago(!)(?)

    Hello, Jacqueline.

If the two guides for recovering files do not resolve the issue for you then I'm sorry to tell you this but files are lost for good. There is no other recovery method we can try at this point.

    Respectfully,

    Glenn Rue

    Good day, Jacqueline.

Thanks for reaching out to our Microsoft Community Forum. Please accept our sincerest hope that all is well.

From the description provided you seem to have lost some Excel worksheets and you would like to recover them.

This issue may have been caused by settings in Windows or Office that need to be changed. Or it may also be a problem with Microsoft account you are using. So, let us work together as a team to get to the bottom of this. But to better assist you I need to ask:

    1. What version of Office are you using? Microsoft 365 Personal? Microsoft 365 Family? I specifically need the Product name and Version number as highlighted in the guide and photo below.

    1. Do you have AutoSave enabled on Excel before you lost this worksheet? Link below for reference.
