Authenticator app is not working
I have an Azure subscription with an AD B2C tenant. I was not able to switch directory to the AD B2C tenant because the authenticator app would give me a message saying "'Error finding an account to complete multi-factor authentication. You may need to add the account again"
Notice that this only happened when switching to AD B2C but when I login to the portal or to office I was able to login using the authenticator app.
Then I decided to un-install the authenticator app from my iPhone and re-install again.
Then I am unable to login even to office because it keeps asking me for the authenticator app which is not setup on my iPhone anymore but does not give me a chance to add the account again. Every time I attempt to navigate to https://aka.ms/mfasetup it asks me to login using authenticator (which is not setup).
I logged in with another admin account on my portal and disabled MFA login on all users. I looked under Azure Active Directory -> Security -> Conditional Access for any policies but there are none. Yet I am still unable to by-pass the MFA authenticator.
How do I remove the authenticator app out of my work flow?
