Excel line chart sorting, is behaving incorrectly

I have been sorting charts in excel for 15 plus years, something has gone wrong.

Utilizing sorted tables then inserting a line chart - then placing the chart in powerpoint the legends change order. No Microsoft this is not a skill issue, something is wrong.

I understand sorting a line chart smallest to largest will display large to small, no problem. However when placing the chart in powerpoint the axis and legend flips!

This is absolutely infuriating.

    Hi,

    The best way to have Microsoft address this type of problem is, while in Excel, to choose Help, Feedback. You can upload a file, send a screenshot and submit an email for them to contact you. At the Forum many of us are just like you, users, not Microsoft employees. We try to solve problems, but we don't engineer Microsoft products.
