Google Sheets live connection to Excel File - Microsoft Home and Business 2021

Hi,

I am currently using a Microsoft Home and Business 2021. I want to create a live-connection from Google Sheet (3 sheets in 1 file) to Excel. The steps I took are:

  1. Create a spreadsheet in google sheet
  2. Share button at the top right corner
  3. In the pop-up click the Copy Link
  4. Open an excel file -> get data ->from web -> paste the link
  5. Replace the last part of the link: export?format=xlsx
  6. The output remains an HTML in power query

How do I get a result with the actual table?

Microsoft 365 and Office | Excel | For business | Other

    Be sure the step2 is share to Anyone.

    The link format should be like this:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aMCWIFqV8Gw37eBc6PLTkGUnX3R0iGWB9VYrz7Yt0EU/export?format=xlsx
