As-Is, Excel Charts are not automatically Slide Size. When producing PowerPoint for them, each Chart needs to be manually

  1. resized and
  2. change the font size to match the size of every chart to copy to PowerPoint.

How to enlarge Font Size when Excel Chart is enlarged by dragging from a corner handle?

APPENDIX

2011 October:: when you resize a chart in Excel, the text/font size will not change proportionally. You will have to manually change the font size to match the size of the chart.

    Dear respected Sunny PA Wong,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

As per your description, based on my test result, it seems that I also meet the same symptom/behaviour as like you described above.

I'm afraid to say that, when you resize a chart in Excel, the font size will not change accordingly when we are dragging from a corner handle. We feel your pain due to this limitation and we’re really feel sorry for it. However, we appreciate your understanding.  I do understand the inconvenience and apologize for it.

    Workaround:

I'm afraid, as a workaround we may need to copy the plotted chart and paste "Paste as picture" in Excel workbook and then enlarge that picture chart, it will enlarge Excel Chart including Font Size.

Appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Waqas Muhammad

Thanks Waqas, what I need to do is advise another co-worker (who is not proficient enough to copy paste 40 charts into slides in a rush) prepare PowerPoint from Excel Charts to print at highest quality.

That is why I am looking for simplest way to resize Font; is any of the following possible?

    1. Keyboard Control Sequence or
    2. Font Custom Style for Slide (please see screeenshot below) or ?
    3. published VBA code ?

Otherwise, as a fallback solution to resize a pasted object copied from Excel , would you kindly advise any resolution difference from Excel?

Ideally, there should be no difference in quality between resize in Excel compare to resize in PowerPoint. Would you confirm if that is the case in reality?

    Image

Example of manual labour to resize shown below

    Height (cm) Width (cm) Font
    created by Excel 7.71 12.75 8
    ReSized for Slide 13..33 19.58 20

    Image

Resize Picture (pasted from Chart) is inferior because Text as picture becomes blurry; Font Resize does not have such problem.
