Power query Error

Hi Experts,

I have merged the tables in the power query. The results are displayed in Power query mode but I got the following error below

The Data Model table couldn't be refreshed:

Excel couldn't refresh the table 'RCS' from connection 'Query - RCS'. Here's the error message from the external data source:

Column 'CFN' in Table 'RCS' contains a duplicate value 'IBFTBX701' and this is not allowed for columns on the one side of a many-to-one relationship or for columns that are used as the primary key of a table. The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed.

How to solve this issue?

Thank you in advance :)

    Hi,

Though you see that error in the Query Editor pop up, that is actually a Data Model error. Go to the PowerPivot and delete the relationship which this table has with the other table. The refresh will work. If you wish to retain the relationship, then you will have to ensure that the CFN column does not have duplicates.
