Warning message that in future versions basic authentication will not be supported (e.g. opening from Webdav)

Question

After MS added a warning message that in future versions basic authentication (e.g. when using a webdav connection )will not be supported anymore, the following problem occurs:
The warning message can be disabled (Checkbox, "do not show again").
Having activated this checkbox, now leads to the behavior that when trying to open a office file again from a webdav connection it does not open at all (just grey Word/Excel screen), which is a bug.
Having deactivated the warning message should not lead to preventing opening the files!!!

I have the following questions without any answers yet:

• How can I revert my setting and show the warning message again?
• Is there any other way to fix this?

I have solved the problem by finding out how to reset the "Do not Show again".

If anyone has the same issue, here's how I did it:

Open Registry Editor and change the Value "BasicAuthSuppressWarning" inthe Office Settings of to 0
