Conditional Formatting if cell contains one item of a provided list

Hi there,

Is it somehow possible to set just one CF rule that contains a list of names?

FX. I would like all cells in column B to turn red IF cell contains one of the names in a provided list.

So instead of saying turn red if cell contains Barbara, it should be:

Turn red if cell contain Barbara or Julia or Monica or Simone or ...

Is this possible or I have to create 100+ rules each one with a name?

Thanks a lot for helping

    Hi Ele,

Greetings! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

Do you mean if AAA1 is in column A, then apply format on it?

    Best Regards,

    Snow Lu

    Hi Snow Lu!

    thanks for replying...

    What I mean is:

If AAA1 or AAA3 or AAA6 are in column 1 then apply format

    Is this possible?

    thanks!
