Issues with OneNote math alignment

Trying to align a equation to the center of the text block, but they return to left side when I close OneNote.

It seems that is a bug reported in 2013

Also, OneNote doesn't provide matrix alignment option like in word, seems that OneNote math is more limited than word version.

    Dear Prof..Emmanuel,

Good day! Thank you for posting your query in our community.

Based on your description, when you align a equation to the center, they return to left side when you close and re-open OneNote. I tested it on my side, and the result was same as yours on both OneNote 2016 and OneNote for Windows 10.

Given this situation, we do understand the inconvenience it caused for you. Since we can reproduce the same situation, we’d suggest you send feedback within OneNote to tell the relevant team about this behavior: How do I give feedback on Microsoft Office? - Office Support. At the same time, we will also report this situation to the related team on our side.

    Appreciate your understanding.

    Sincerely,

    Jazlyn | Microsoft Community Moderator
