Hi

I have received an excel spreadsheet from a supplier with Completion Dates column showing as Jan 11 2023, Nov 03 2022 etc.

I need to convert these dates to the format 11/01/2023, 03/11/2022 etc to allow uploading into our database as that's the only format that it will accept

When i check the format of each cell it says DATE.

I have tried changing to TEXT, GENERAL, CUSTOM FORMAT etc. but the format does not change from what is currently in each cell

Can anyone assist in how to convert this

Thanks

John

Select the column with the dates.

On the Data tab of the ribbon, in the Data Tools group, click Text to Columns.

Select Delimited, then click 'Next >'.

Clear all check boxes under Delimiters, then click 'Next >'

Select MDY from the Date drop down.

    Click Finish.
