    Hi Andrew

I'm AnnaThomas and I'd happily help you with your question. In this Forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

The DATEDIF function is available in any version of Excel, but it is not shown in the list of functions. You can simply type =DATEDIF( in a cell to use it.

The above is as suggested by Sergei Baklan in the thread below

    https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/excel/office-365-excel-functions-datedif-and-xlookup-not-available/m-p/3600391

I hope this helps ;-), let me know if this is contrary to what you need, I would still be helpful to answer more of your questions.

    Best Regards,

    AnnaThomas

it is *not* available, functional, etc. in Office365. That is a demonstrable fact.

    So demonstrate it!!

The following demonstrates that DATEDIF *is* available and functional in Excel Online, which is a limited version of Office 365 Excel.

You might be confused by the following demonstrable fact that DATEDIF is not shown in ***the list*** of functions. But that is exactly what AnnaThomas wrote, citing Sergei.

If you have a version of Excel that DATEDIF is not functional in, post the Excel (Office) version information and images that demonstrate the error that you get.

But the online DATEDIF help page (click here) suggests that it is supported in past and current versions of Excel. To demonstrate:

It is not available in office365.

To reiterate, it is *not* available, functional, etc. in Office365. That is a demonstrable fact.
