Hi to everybody!

I have a list of working time for on calling collegues.(starting date and time, ending date and time).

I made a list gallery list view ,based on category column (manager,employees,etc.).

once I edit the list the background filter allows me how data only if dates=today, but it doesen't keep the time!!!

for instance I end my working time at 11:00 am ,my name it's shown even at 5 PM...because it's today.

is there any way to arrange it ??

thanks

    Dear MINERVINI FABIO,

Greetings! Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

As per your description, it seems like you created SharePoint list view and set filter dates=today, but the date doesn't display well.

We'd like to help you, please let us cooperate, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation.

We'd like to collect more information to better understand the scenario:

1.Do you filter date by using Filter in list view settings > Show the items when the date column is equals to [Today]? If not, could you let us know your detailed steps?

2.Could you share some screenshots about "for instance I end my working time at 11:00 am  ,my name it's shown even at 5 PM...because it's today"?

Thanks for your time and cooperation! We hope you stay safe and healthy always.

    Sincerely,

    Tina | Microsoft Community Moderator

i have this gallery view ,with start time and end time.i would show the item ONLY if those times are valid.if now =later than ending time,it should be hidden.

the only rule i found on the filter it's TODAY,but it doesn't keep the time.so if i end my working time at 4 pm of today, the gallery still shows my item

    Dear MINERVINI FABIO

    I'm following this tread.

Thank you for your quick response and we also appreciate you spent your precious time doing the tests and providing the detailed screenshot to us.

Per your update, we did a test on our end in gallery view with filter option, we have to tell you that in the filter rules, it can't set the date with time together in the box as screenshot below, you only can set the date, it doesn't keep the time.

If we include the time in the box, it will show the prompt as below:

But you can select any date to display in the box to filter, you can type manually, such as 22/02/2023 /23/02/2023 /19/02/2023

If this is not your scenario or any unclear, you can post back in your free time. We’re looking forward to your reply and will continue to help you all the time!

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated. I hope that you are keeping safe and well!

    Sincerely,

unfortunately my working time sheet ends at 8 am.

so i have one person who work from 8 am today the 23rd until 8 am the 24 th and another one starting 8 am the 24th unti the 25th 8 am.

if i only filter dates it seems there are two people working in 24th!
