Restrict Access is available in Excel 2016 (I'm pretty sure that's the version in that screenshot, and I have it in Excel 2016) but, as per the article that AnnaThomas linked to, it will depend on your organisational setup as to whether you can use it. If you aren't set up for IRM, then I don't think you can use it.

    Hi Tonten

I'm AnnaThomas and I'd happily help you with your question. In this Forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

The "Restrict Access" function is not available in Microsoft Excel 2016. This feature was introduced in Excel 365, which is a subscription-based version of Excel that includes additional features and updates not available in previous versions.

If you want to use the "Restrict Access" function, you may want to consider upgrading to Excel 365 or using a different version of Excel that includes this feature.

I hope this helps ;-), let me know if this is contrary to what you need, I would still be helpful to answer more of your questions.

    Best Regards,

    AnnaThomas
