A family of Microsoft word processing software products for creating web, email, and print documents.
Hello MesPia,
Thank you for sharing your concern here in Microsoft Community Forum and we hope that all is well.
It appears that you are having an issue copying and pasting subscripted and superscripted texts in Word documents. Let us check what is causing the issue and rest assured that we are going to perform some step to resolve the issue in a timely manner.
Before we proceed any further, we would like to ask few questions to help us isolate the issue.
- Are you using Word desktop application or Word in the web?
- If using a Word desktop application, what is the version of Word you are using? To check, follow the steps below:
- Open Word application and select Account. **Note:**If you don't see Account or you already have a file or document open, choose File from the menu, and then select either Account or Help from the list on the left.
- Under Product Information, you'll find your Office product name and, in some cases, the full version number.
1 - Product name, such as Microsoft 365 ProPlus or Office Home and Student. 2 - Version number, which includes version, build number, and the type of installation such as Click-to-run or Windows Store.
- For more information, such as the bit-version, choose About Word. A dialog box opens, showing the full version number and bit version (32-bit or 64-bit).
For the meantime, if you are using Word desktop application, we are going to perform repair and update of your Office application. To do so, follow the steps below:
- Repair Office application.
- Right-click the Start button
(lower-left corner) and select Apps and Features on the pop-up menu. - Select the Microsoft Office product you want to repair and select Modify. **Note:**This will repair the entire Office suite even if it's just one application you want to repair such as Word or Excel. If you have a standalone app installed, then search for that application by name.
- In the window How would you like to repair your Office Programs, select Quick Repair > Repair
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the repair.
- Install Office updates.
- Open any Word application.
- Go to File > Account
- Under Product Information, choose Update Options > Update Now. Note: You may need to click Enable Updates first if you don't see the Update Now option right away.
- Close the "You're up to date!" window after Office is done checking for and installing updates.
