Getting below error while restoring files from SharePoint Online site recycle bin "The item "" cannot be restored"

Same behavior on all files in the recycle bin.

User restoring the files is a Site admin.

Tried with below PowerShell command and got the same error.
Get-PnPRecycleBinItem -RowLimit 10000 | Restore-PnPRecycleBinItem -Force

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

    Hello Tin,

    Thank you for your response.

All these criteria's are met but still getting the same error.

Same issue for all files in the recycle bin.

Same issue on different browser, machine and network.

Tried with multiple Site admin accounts but no luck.

Issue is not reproducible on other sites recycle bin.

Issue is happening on subsite library of the root site.

Any other way you can recommend to restore the files?

    Dear Rohan More1,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Based on your description, we understand that you are currently unable to recover files from the Recycle Bin.

First of all, please check whether you meet the following conditions:

If your situation does not meet the above criteria, I would like to ask you to try switching browsers first to see if you can recover your files. At the same time, I also want to know if other files cannot be recovered either.

    Sincerely,

    Tin | Microsoft Community Moderator
