Problem with printing Avery labels

Hi everyone,

I created a document containing over slightly over 400 pages in purpose of printing data on Avery labels. Every time I try to print custom pages, for example 12-41, my printer simply doesn't recognise the request and "doesn't see" the requested printing processes. Any ideas how to deal with this properly?

I don't really want to print everything at once due to possible misprints linked to label papers moving.

This has always been a "gotcha" with mail merge result documents.

The key is to understand that the merge creates section breaks and restarts page numbering.

You will find that every page of a label merge is page 1.

You need more information in your page selection to include the Section.

Turn on display of Page Number, Formatted Page Number, and Section in your status bar.

As Suzanne pointed out, you will need to tell Word to print certain sections. Only the section number is needed for labels but if you were dealing with a multi-page primary merge document you would need to also include page information in the format:

p1s3-p5s3

In a labels document created by mail merge, each sheet of labels is a separate section. You will have to use section numbers, such as s12-s41, to print specific sheets.
