I have SCCM ver 2103 + KB10036164 also deployed a passive site server.
I have downloaded and installed ADK and WinPE version 10.1.19041.1 on both primary and passive servers.
After both servers rebooted I tried to perform "Update Distribution Points" on all Boot images I have, but the "Update Distribution Points" says "Current Windows ADK version: 10.0.18362.0 Current production client version: 5.00.9049.1035".
I have uninstalled ADK and winPE from both primary and passive servers and rebooted but still having the same issue.
I have copied winpe.wim from ADK folder, and copied it to OSD boot folder, and created a new boot image, the boot image's OS version matches the WinPE version but when I tried to perform "Update Distribution Points" , it still shows "Current Windows ADK version: 10.0.18362.0 Current production client version: 5.00.9049.1035."
I also ran SCCM site reset but no change.
I am out of options at this point, I am thinking about removing the passive site server to see if that fix the issue but I can't find any instruction on how to remove the passive site.
Can someone let me know how to trouble shoot this stuck WinPE? or how to remove passive site server?

After we update the ADK and WinPE version, we have to check the "Reload this boot image with the current WinPE verion from the windows ADK" and update distribution point. After update, you may check the version again.

I already done that but the "Current Windows ADK version:" still showing the older version.
You may run below query to see what version is installed on which providers:
select * from vSMS_OSDeploymentKitInstalled
That is it!, I found a 3d SSM server on SQL server for passive SCCM server, not sure how it got installed and I tried to uninstall the sms but it is grayed out.
I update ADK kit on the SQL and now things are working again, thanks!

Where is the SMS Provider role hosted?
SMS role is installed on 2 servers, active and passive servers, I have updated ADK and WInPE on both servers and rebooted more than 10 times now.
