How to update external links automatically on excel online?

Hello,

I am currently testing some linking between workbooks to funnel data to different teams. The linking is working, however the data is not being updated on the destination workbook when modified in the source workbook. It also doesn't update when doing the Refresh all function.

I tried to modify the settings in the trust center, but when opening the settings on the web browser (needs to be browser as working on teams), I only see regional settings. My desktop excel works fine for these settings and update automatically external links is already activated.

Does anybody know a way in which to ensure linked date updates automatically when modifying the source workbook? Thanks

Managing Workbook Links

To help you manage Workbook Links, we’ve added a new Workbook Links task pane. The task pane can be accessed by pressing the Workbook Links button on the Data tab or via the “Manage Workbook Links” button.
