I deleted my Microsoft 365 E5 Sandbox Developer account and need to see if I can get it reactivated before the 60 days.

Good morning,

I am currently doing Microsoft trainings and need to use the Microsoft developer account. I have both a work account and my personal account. I created a developer account under my work login but want/need to use my personal account for all trainings. So when I went to create the developer account for my personal account, it told me that I am unable to use the same phone number and that I would need to delete my other account.

I deleted my first developer account under my work email so I could use that phone number with my personal account. It said that I would have to wait 60 days to reactivate it but since I was going to go under my personal email to do the training and labs I thought I would be fine. However, since it uses the same phone number, even though its under a different email, I have to wait 60 days.

As I mentioned, I am trying to do trainings and labs for my Microsoft Sandbox training class, is there anyway to reactivate that Sandbox Microsoft E5 subscription for developer trainings?

    Hello Alex

If you have deleted your Microsoft 365 E5 Sandbox Developer account, you may be able to restore the subscription if it's still within the 30-day grace period. Here's how you can check if it is still recoverable:

    1. Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center and sign in with your admin credentials.
    2. Click on the Billing option in the left pane.
    3. Click on the Subscriptions tab to view all your subscriptions.
    4. Look for the subscription that you deleted and check its status. If it's still recoverable, you should see an option to restore it. If the subscription is not recoverable, you will need to purchase a new subscription. However, Microsoft offers a free trial for Microsoft 365 E5 subscription. You can sign up for a new trial account and use it for your training and labs. To create a new trial account, go to the Microsoft 365 E5 page and click on the "Try for free" button. Follow the prompts to sign up for the trial and start using the subscription for training and labs.

    Best Regards, Juan
