Hi Community,

Is it possible to segment the background of a graph with different colors?.

I need that below 90% of the Y axis it is seen in red, between 90-110 it is seen in green, and above 110% in yellow. Similar to this.

Is possible?.

Thanks and have good day¡

    Hello Fajac,

I'm Ibhadighi and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

it seems like you want to create a graph with a segmented background where different sections of the Y-axis have different colors. Yes, it is possible to achieve this effect in most graphing software and spreadsheet programs.

One way to do this is by creating a stacked area chart with three data series representing the three color segments. The first data series would represent the red segment and would have a value of 90% for all X values. The second data series would represent the green segment and would have a value of 20% (110% - 90%) for all X values. The third data series would represent the yellow segment and would have a value that extends to the top of the chart for all X values.

Once you have created the stacked area chart, you can format the data series to have the desired colors (red, green, and yellow) and remove any borders or lines. You can then add your actual data as a separate line or scatter chart on top of the stacked area chart.

Please let us know if you need more help.

    Best Regards, IBHADIGHI
