Remove blank lines?

I have been given several worksheets of contact info [name, email phone etc], one contact per row. The owner of the file has simply deleted the contents of whole rows to eliminate unwanted info.

How do I delete these completely blank rows [other than manually] to put the total info back into database form?

    Would it be OK to sort the entire range on one of the columns? That would sort the empty rows to the bottom.
