Cell wrap text function gone awry

Hello. I'm using Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2302 Build 16.0.16130.20466) 32-bit. I've built several spreadsheets using the wrap text function in certain cells to align text in several rows in each cell. Something has changed in either the program or spreadsheet where the text is no longer aligned the way it was, but now acts like there is a pre-determined spacing or alignment between the text in any cell. What is odd is that when the spreadsheet opens, it looks like it normally did. Once you move through the spreadsheet, the cells abruptly change to the wonky version. Any ideas? I've tried different spreadsheets and whatever changed is affecting them all. Not seeing any spacing or indention options. Attached a picture for reference of the problem. Thanks in advance.
