Update item not working in Power Automate

My Update Item isn't working in one of my Power Automate flows and I'm not sure why.

I'm doing a scheduled flow that updates today's current date and time every minute. Its worked for a few weeks now, but decided to all of the sudden fail. In testing it, I realized that my problem is the Update Item part of the flow. On the right not shown in the screenshot, it said the problem is something with either the Assigned to or the Issue Logged by where Microsoft profiles are used.

I've attached screenshots with what I'm doing. Is there an easier and more successful way to do what I'm trying to accomplish or is there a way to fix what I already have?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Dear Harrison,

    Welcome to the forum here.

From the description "On the right not shown in the screenshot, it said the problem is something with either the Assigned to or the Issue Logged by where Microsoft profiles are used.", the issue seems to be at the Assigned to Claims and Issue Logged by Claims side in your environment.

I noticed that you seem to use Assigned to in Assigned to Claims and Issue Logged by in Issue Logged by Claims in your environment. If yes, please use Assigned to Claims in Assigned to Claims and Issue Logged by Claims in Issue Logged by Claims, save the flow and then run the flow again to see the result.

Welcome to share any updates when you have time if you need further help on this issue.

Thanks for your effort and time!

    Sincerely,

    Thanks Cliff,

I think that fixed that issue but uncovered another one, this time, I'm not really sure what it means. Attached is a screenshot of the error details. Any ideas?

    Dear Harrison,

    Thanks for your updates.

Please check whether you select Choice column name Value instead of Choice column name in the flow. It seems that you just select the Choice column name in the flow. Could you confirm it in your environment?

Thanks for your effort and time!

I updated all that had the value option but it still doesn't work. It is weird because it works sporadically but not all the time. I'm not really sure what the problem is. Any other possible tips?

Thanks so much for your patience!!

    Dear Harrison,

    Thanks for your updates.

If all values are updated correctly in your environment, the flow should be ran successfully. There may be some cache issue in the connector. If it is convenient, I suggest you clear the browser cache, remove the last step Update the item and re-add the step and then run the flow again to see the result.

Thanks for your effort and time!

    Sincerely,
