outlook not receiving e-mail

Question

Using MS Outlook 2013.

My Old hp pavilion laptop fell. Impact damaged hdd.

Computer clinic cloned my hdd (from old hp pavilion laptop) to new ssd fitted in a replacement ASUS laptop.

I can open my Outlook.

However the inbox is not receiving new e-mails since the failure last Thurs 30th March i.e. incoming e-mails which I can see

on my outlook on my phone and on webmail are not appearing on the Outlook on my laptop.

Please help me fix my Outlook inbox on my ASUS laptop so that it reflects e-mails received since Thurs 30th March.

Thanks for your reply, much appreciated. Employed IT professional for assistance and yes removing the account and re-adding it was a big part of the solution.

I'm Tim, an Independent Consultant here and a Microsoft user like you. I don't work for Microsoft and do not have access to any of your data on their system.

Have you tried removing the account and then re adding it?
