Onenote Bug

Hello, there exists a bug while I try to take notes on my iPad, its extremely frustrating and I dont know how to fix it. Basically what happens is everytime the pen touches the screen, streaks of black lines are drawn and interupt whatever youre trying to write. The problem persisted when I changed the pen, pen tip and I do not have a screen protector. Its also only exists on one note, as other note taking apps work fine. Im tried to reach microsoft support but school accounts arent allowed to chat with live agents, and I forgot the password to my personal account so I have to wait 30 days for a new one (thanks microsoft!!). I also tried adding a picture to this thread to better document the bug, but the photo keeps failing to upload, despite converting it to jpg, jpeg and pdf.

usually this problem is caused by poor grounding in charging cables and chargers. Try unplugging the charger and holding the iPad further away from any other sources of electronic interference, and see if the problem goes away.

    Dear Islam,

    Welcome to the forum here.

It seems that I can't reproduce the issue in our environment.

From your description, it seems that the issue only occurs in one notebook in your environment.

If yes and if you haven't tried restarting your iPad, I suggest you give it a try and then do a test again to see the result.

Meanwhile, I suggest you get a Windows computer>open the notebooks in OneNote for the web>check whether the affected notebook is synced fine. If yes, open OneNote 2016 to export and upload the affected notebook as a new notebook. Then you can open OneNote for iPad to see if the issue doesn't happen in the new notebook. If yes, you can just remove the old notebook and use the new notebook to move forward in your environment.

Thanks for your effort and time!

    Sincerely,
