Is there any way to disable macro warning when opening file with macros in Excel for Mac (Office 365, ver. 16.72 (23040900)? I have created my own file with my own macros and EVERY time I open this file Excel screams about macros. This ruins any automations build into macOS as shown dialog needs to be manually dismissed. There should be possibility to sign macro or disable warning for all files or per file.

You’re welcome! Unfortunately, the Trust Center feature that allows you to trust signed macros is not available in the Mac version of Office.

However, you can still disable the macro warning for specific files by going to Excel > Preferences > Security & Privacy and selecting the “Enable all macros” option

Thank you! This solves part of the problem.

On Windows there is Trust Center in Office. It allows trust signed macros. I can't see similar functionality in Mac's Office.

    Hi Jarek

I'm AnnaThomas and I'd happily help you with your question. In this Forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

Yes, there is a way to disable the macro warning when opening a file with macros in Excel for Mac. You can do this by going to the menu and clicking on Preferences. From there, click on Security & Privacy. To allow all macros to run, select the Enable all macros radio button.

However, be cautious when enabling all macros as this will allow ALL macros, both good and bad, to run without any further warning. Only choose this setting if you’re certain that you won’t be opening any malicious or dangerous files.
