If you’re located in the US then the feature should be available to you so I’m unsure on the reasons for this.

Have you spoken to Microsoft at all just incase it’s an account error?

    Kind regards

    Tim

You’re very welcome. Where are you located in the world? The identity theft monitoring function for individuals in Defender is only available for the US only. Kind regards Tim

    I’m from California.

    Thanks

    Thet

Hi ThetSaw, I'm Tim, an Independent Consultant here and a Microsoft user like you. I don't work for Microsoft and do not have access to any of your data on their system. What procedure are you carrying out to try and enable this? Are you presented with any error messages? Kind regards Tim

    Hi Tim,

Thanks for giving your precious time to help me. Following are the instructions from Microsoft site. I couldn't locate the identity theft monitoring card in my account.

    How do I get started?

    1. Go to the Microsoft Defender app on your device or the My Defender portal (https://mydefender.microsoft.com) on the web.
    2. Locate the identity theft monitoring card on your Defender dashboard and select “Get started”
    3. Follow the steps to create your profile
    4. Add any personal info types that you want us to monitor

    Regards

    Thet
