Unsupported authentication protocol

What should I do to resolve an issue thay says: "The server you are trying to access is using an authentication protocol not supported by this version of office." Error is described as "Unsupported server"?

Hi Liam,

Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

According to the error message, normally, it happens after your organization changed the domain for Office 365. I would like to know if your organization is in the same situation. You can click File> Info, and check if all notebooks displayed are still pointing to the path with the old domain.

If not, please post back and let me know.

If so, here is a thread where the member discussed a similar situation. Please try the steps and check again.
