My OneNote just suddenly stopped syncing last week, even though I haven't changed anything or done anything new. I'm on macOS Ventura 13.2.1

    Dear Rach_33

Good day! Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Based on your description, I would like to suggest you try the followings:

    1. Firstly, please backup all notes in the notebooks, you can back up the note to your personal OneDrive account or copy all the note to the Word document.
    2. In OneNote on Mac, close an affected notebook. (You may choose a notebook as a test first)
    3. Go to OneDrive online, locate the notebook and open it in the browser first, click Open In OneNotebutton in the ribbon to open the notebook in OneNote desktop application, put the backup notes which haven't been sync originally in the notebook and check if they will sync normally.

Also, you can try to directly put your new notes in the notebook when you open it in the browser, and click Open in OneNote button to open the notebook in desktop application.

In addition, please follow the troubleshooting steps from the following article, see if this fixes the issue:

Fix issues when you can't sync OneNote - Microsoft Support

In addition, if the sync problem still persists, maybe the problem was caused by the read only mode. Since you mentioned that all notes were in read-only mode. Maybe there are some corrupt of your account or your organization has blocked some settings. Please kindly ask your admin to help you check this if it's this situation.

Meanwhile, you can ask your admin to create a support ticket from Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Support > New service request to contact the support engineers in there to help you check this behavior remotely. For reference: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Docs, you can select online support or phone support to have a live chat with the support engineers.

About how to find the admin in your organization, you can refer to How do I find my Office 365 admin

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated. I hope that you are keeping safe and well!

    Sincerely,

    Stacey | Microsoft Community Moderator
