Excel hovering over notes not being displayed

Yesterday i was able to hover over comments made on our excel file and see notes left there. Now when hovering over, it shows there is a note but it is blank. It only shows the name of the person who put a note but no information. If I go to "review" and read comments it shows them. I made sure the settings are correct to allow the preview when hovering. I did also have a notification that OFFICE was updated last night

    From your description, it looks bug in newest version.

    Disable office update and rollback to previous version of office as temporary workaround.
