    Dear KO Lim,

Good day!! Thanks for posting your concern in this Microsoft Community.

As per the description shared, I understand your concern and would like to convey that I have tested the behavior in the latest version of the Excel app on the Semi – Annual and Current channel, where I am able to reproduce the same behavior as explained.

In this situation, I would like to suggest you check whether the Office apps is updated to the latest version.

Open the Word app> Account> Update Options> Update Now

If the Office apps are up to date with the same problem, please launch your Excel app in the Safe Mode and check the outcome. Reference: Open Office apps in safe mode on a Windows PC - Microsoft Support

If still the same issue, please perform Online Repair the Office apps and check whether you are still facing the same issue. Reference: Repair an Office application - Microsoft Support

If nothing works, then please let us know whether the problem happens after the recent Office apps update. Moreover, do other users are having the same issue? If possible, please share the version number and name of the channel using. (Open the Office apps such as Word> Account> Take a screenshot and share it with us.)

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Sincerely,
