Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
yes i have all that question
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
After reinstalling Windows, I signed in to my Microsoft account (with a university) and tried installing Office 365.
If I do it using "OfficeSetup.exe" I get Error Code: 30015-11 (3221225506) at the end of the installation.
If I use "SetupProd_OfficeScrub.exe", I get Error Code 0-2031 (17002) after removing Office entirely and having this utility try to reinstall.
I turned off my virus checker, but that didn't help.
Any advice?
Troy

Dear Troy J_396
Sorry for the trouble caused at your end.
First, for the error message encountered, uninstalling the Office applications using the SARA tool and re-installing will generally fix the problem. But, as you’re encountering the error message while trying to install the Office applications, we request you first identify whether there are files related to Office using the SARA tool. If the SARA can’t find any Office products, we request you to restart your PC and try to install the Office applications using the Office Deployment Tool.
For using the Office Deployment Tool, I request you to refer my reply in thisthread for complete detail steps. For more reference:
Overview of the Office Deployment Tool
Please feel free to post back the updates and have a good day!!
Best Regards,
Stacey
Dear Troy J_396,
Thanks for your reply,
I'm following up on this thread with you. Please try creating a new user profile and installing Office. If you are not able to install Office in the newly created user profile, we are afraid that to address this issue, it may be necessary to investigate the environment on your end. As forum support, we do not have sufficient permissions and resources to perform an investigation directly. Therefore, we sincerely recommend that you contact your Microsoft 365 administrator and follow the steps outlined in this article to create a support ticket and contact Online Support.
The support team at Online Support has higher permissions than us and can remotely examine the situation on your end, gather more resources, and assist you with troubleshooting. This will be a more efficient way to address your concerns.
For your reference, here is a helpful article on how to locate your Microsoft 365 admin.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! Have a great day.

Hi Stacey,
Thanks for trying to assist.
This was indeed a new angle, and the instructions were clear.
However, in trying this approach, ultimately, the installation of Office failed with the same message "Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. Error Code: 30015-11 (3221225506)."
Any ideas?
