    Per the description shared, I understand your requirement but I am sorry to convey that Microsoft Visio doesn’t have any built-in feature to get count of subordinates and open positions from Visio diagram.

    In this situation, I would like to suggest you to add your valuable feedback in Visio · Community (microsoft.com) which is the best place to improve the Microsoft products.

    In addition, as per my search, I noticed your requirement can be achieved via VBA and suggest you try posting your concern in Office VBA support and feedback | Microsoft Learn to get the detailed help from experts.
