Recently I have had a 'Personal Vault' folder appear on my android Onedrive app. There is the icon which appears to be shared.

I do not see this folder through Microsoft Edge on the desktop.

There is no shared folders to me other than the few I can see that are 'Shared with you', which are not the folder in question.

Please help.

    Hello

I’m Adeyemi and I’d be happy to help you with your question.

The Personal Vault is a special folder in your OneDrive that's protected by an extra layer of security. You'll need to set it up separately on each device where you want to use it. The first time you see Personal Vault in your OneDrive, you'll see a message where you can select Get started. If you don't see the message or you dismissed it, browse to your OneDrive and select the Personal Vault folder.

The shared icon on the Personal Vault folder in your Android OneDrive app might be indicating that the folder is available across multiple devices, not that it's shared with other users.

If you're not seeing the Personal Vault folder on your desktop, it could be because you haven't set it up on your desktop yet. To set up Personal Vault on your desktop, go to OneDrive settings, select the Personal Vault tab, and follow the instructions.

    I hope this helps.
