Recently IMAGE function is working intermittently with an array as input.

I have been using this Excel sheet for a few months, and as recently as 2 weeks ago, it started to act weird. The function is not complicated:

=IMAGE(INDEX(G9#,,5))

which returns a URL from image files that I have on SharePoint.

Now the shown images are sometimes not being updated automatically, and I have to select the cell with the function, go to the function bar, and press enter for it to work. Even clicking on "calculate now" is not effective.

The issue is intermittent; sometimes it is there and sometimes it works just fine, so it cannot be my function issue.

It is super annoying.

    Hi,

    I can't speak to the issue as regards SharePoint, however, one of these shortcut key combinations may allow you to update the formula quickly. I can't test to see which one(s), so I leave that to you.

    F9

    Shift+F9

    Ctrl+Alt+F9

    Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F9
