Tracking who has viewed a shared link to the file on OneDrive

Hello

I have shared the link to the document stored on OneDrive to other person.

Is it possible to see who is accessing the link, viewing the document and when.

Is there an easy way to access this info (in both cases - OneDrive for home and OneDrive for Business)

As per your description, track who has viewed a shared link to a file on OneDrive for Business. To do this, you can follow these steps:

1.Go to the OneDrive for Business website and sign in.

2. Navigate to the file that you shared.
3. Right-click on the file or folder and select "Details".
4. In the "Details" pane, check the "Activity" tab.
5. Here, you will see a list of all the activities related to the file.

Also, using view an Activity Reports from admin center, Microsoft 365 offers various activity reports that can provide insights into user activity, including document access. These reports might include details about who accessed documents, when.

Unfortunately, this feature is not available in OneDrive for home. OneDrive for personal use is designed for individual users and focuses more on file sharing and collaboration.
