Hu ,

I currently have a Microsoft Form with responses that I want to transfer to SharePoint in an Excel format. While I'm aware I can create a new form directly from SharePoint to achieve but I need this for my existing form. Please let me know how to accomplish this without using Power automate.

Regards

NS

    Dear NS

    Good day!!

I understand your concern and would like to let you know that you can move the forms or quizzes that are created in the Microsoft Forms (https://forms.office.com ) or OneDrive for Business to the Group forms, where the responses of the moved Form or Quiz will also be moved.

However, if the Form is directly created in the Microsoft Forms (https://forms.office.com), the responses of the Form will be stored in the Excel workbook but the Excel workbook won’t be stored in the cloud location and if the Form is created in the OneDrive for Business, the responses workbook of the Form will be stored in the OneDrive for Business.

So, when you move the Form to the Group form, the responses will also be moved and responses Excel workbook stored in the OneDrive will be moved to the SharePoint Online site linked to the Office 365 group, but the responses Excel workbook which is not stored in the OneDrive for Business will not be stored in the SharePoint Online site linked to the Office 365 group.

Moreover, if the Form is already in the Groups, it’s not possible to move the Form to a different group.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,
