Lost responses in Microsoft Forms

Hi Everyone,

I see this is quite a prevalent problem. I can't find any recent threads about it (latest from 2021) and wanted to see if there are new suggestions as I'm encountering it as well.

I created a form on Microsoft Forms from my business account and responses were being collected and I could see them.

The form has suddenly disappeared from my 'My Forms' list. I can't find/access the responses as the form doesn't appear in my list or anywhere else for that matter.

The link to the form is still active and responses can still be submitted but the form isn't appearing in my account.

I have tried all suggestions I read about:

  • Different browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome and Safari)
  • Changing the ResponsePage.aspx?id text from the link that I sent to fill out the form for DesignPage.aspx#FormId

- I have made sure I login with my work account, which is the one I used to create the form

  • Checked MyForms, Recent and Bin, the Form nowhere to be found

Are there any other suggestions to try and recover the responses?

Thanks in advance.

Jon.

    Dear Jon Goldaracena Murguialday,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue with Microsoft Forms. Based on the information you provided, it seems that the form has been deleted or removed from your account. However, the link to the form is still active and responses can still be submitted.

Targeting the current phenomenon, we kindly recommended you can contact the admin user to raise a service request in Microsoft 365 admin center, which the support there has the related permission and resource to help you check from the backend and see whether can help to recover the data you did not sync successfully.

    Thanks for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Tin | Microsoft Community Moderator
